Can ready is ok only if car have Can Gateway, some older cars dont have it cca -2004

I know...but on the same car didn't work normal procedure(saving configuration after testing usb cable and then plugging into OBD)...and after procedure explained above...it worked...it sounds like a very stupid reason...but who cares if it worked

but the pin(red line) are not solder

Pin 1 and 8 not used but maybe it is to be stable ( I mean between PCB and the diagnostic OBD 16 pins connector ). Not necessary to solder that pins becasue item aren't used.

I just wanna show you this kind of VCDS hardware, it's pretty unusual, it has FT232RL but there is no STC chip and no matter which dump i put in, it could only work on VAGCOM 704 even though it came as version 908. Maybe some of you had same experience. It still works with 704 and works great

Does it work with 908?

Hi! I have received last week, some china 10.6 cable. I have read all the topic, and i'm a little bit disapointed about the 10.6 interface.

But I have a question regarding 10.6 and Windows 7 64bits. My interface is 1.81 firmware, it's work with 10.6.0 version, all it's ok, but it's not work on Windows 7 64 bits, They give me an error message. But if I check on the ross-tech web site, the 10.6.0 version suppose to work with 64 bits OS.

Do you have an idea of the problem?

You have logging in as Administrator
Everything works like a charm on W7 64 biti ( tested by me )

So you couldn't install the driver?
I suppose so.
Install it manually
The folder of driver it is the same one where is the VCDS installed.
C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS
