There is no security access login in that clb. Not even one.

From J2 and right (the one with the small square) you have [VDD(+3.3v), GND, PA15, SWDIO, SWCLK, PB3] (The side of the PCB with the STM chip)

Both the bootloader and the firmware will check the RDP level and set RDP2 if not previously set.
This will completely disable the debug interface so you wont get any response if you connect a debugger.

Here are some info from ST about RDP2:

"When RDP Level 2 is activated, all protections provided in Level 1 are active and the MCU is fully protected.
The RDP option byte and all other option bytes are frozen and can no longer be modified. The JTAG, SWV
(single-wire viewer), ETM, and boundary scan are all disabled. When booting from Flash, the memory content
is accessible to user code. However, booting from SRAM or from system memory bootloader is no longer possible.
This protection is irreversible (JTAG fuse), so it is impossible to go back to protection Level1 or 0."

Despite this I found a way to revert it so I would not say it is impossible. When that said it took me nearly a year of research to figure it out.

    Good luck trying

You can use VAG DASHCOM / CAN 5.29 interface.

Hi guys, I'm using a V2 interface with STM405 and if I use latest VII plus loader 08.021.05 with 21.3 version I get license error when trying to scan a car and "license revoked" at About menu. If I use 20.12 version it seems al is ok. As I know latest loader is suppose to work with latest version of VCDS. My interface SN ends with -5a22, am I doing something wrong ?

I bought an interface and indeed the chip seems to be second hand and just added later (considering the bad quality of soldering)

Anyone using the 415 cable experience burned chips?
Or perhaps more specific anyone with an upgraded 415 (to support 20.12) expenses this?
