Do you have flickering issues of tabs like faults codes, live data on 1.6 tdi engine with 21.3 and latest version of viiplus loader? ( While engine running) and live data to be represented as 111000111 etc.

somebody can identify this element? hex v2 405 after burned voltage regulator can transceiver dadu burned and also burned this element on the other side of the board... any suggestions about replacement?

Hi Guys. I have a big engine problem (Cam i suspect) and i cant get my clone VCDS 18.2 cable to work, interface not detected with V18.2 software, Windows sees it fine and it used to work. Had it for years and cant remember who it is from, or even be 100% if the 18.2 software i have is genuine or the one supplied with the cable.
The chip is an Atmega 162 160-TW.
Windows sees it as:-
USB\VID_0403&PID_FA24&REV_0600
USB\VID_0403&PID_FA24
My car is 2009 so i dont need latest greatest software revision, just to be able to use it for diagnosis asap.
How best can i proceed? By using a loader or does anyone have V18.2 compatible with a clone?
All the links for older down-loaders and software referring to 18.2 are now dead. I am on holiday in the car next week so only have limited time to get it working.
I would be eternally grateful for any help to save my holiday:-)

it needs to be recognised as ross-tech direct usb interface or ross-tech usb converter
if not then you have problem with ftdi
reflash it with mprog

I want to order one HEX-V2 from aliexpress, those with atmega162 are cheaper than stm32f405, do all of them come with unlimited VIN's? and does it have the same functions between atmega162 and stm32f405 if the software is 21.3.0?

Hello ,
Can someone please help me identify the problem with getting no respone from the controller error on some modules like instruments , central conv , central lock ...
Strange thing is that on some modules like engine , airbag the interface it is conecting fine.
I tested with another vcds interface on same car and all the modules are conecting fine.

Hello, I have seen several adverts on which the say "VagCom with anti-blocking chip".
I suppose they will have ATMEGA chip and another one.
Do you have a photo of this type of cable? Or it is not possible?
