Hello I have non genuine VCDS cable 15.7 how to upgrade to newer version like 20.4? I believe I need to reflash it somehow or something? I am very new to this stuff so pls help

If you have atmega inside, you can use Kolimer 9.2 Loader to upgrade.

Open the interface. If you will see Atmel Atmega162 chip, you can upgrade.

Vcds loader does not start under windows 10 pro 64 bits.

using vcds 21.3.0 with loader 9.2

Disable real time protection in windows builtin antivirus for testing purposes. Later you can just exclude specific loader files and resume real time.

I have a VCDS 10.12.3 with Atmel 162 and 8 holes like in the picture above from niume123456.
Would like to flash it, but don't know where I can connect wires from USBASP.
Sorry, new here, seem's I can't post any picture.
Any clue?

If it works, you can use Kolimer Loader v9.2. Connect interface to OBD and USB and flash (VAGCOM_EEWriteLang.exe).
