Creteli im gonna try in a minute but somewhere i read that if Loader Screen shows Failed not OK loader do not work, that scares me more. A friedn of me has 12.12 VCDS with cable, with his version and his cable test goes well without pluged in the care and recieves a longer message with blue circle with !, not yellow like mine

Tested: XP 32bit laptop
V21.3 (from the Xs of the cable + loader v9.1 from the cd) Still getting Failed 2 on loader > Test goes well, but nothing works … license say REVOKED

V19.6, V20.4, V20.12 from here (mega archive) + Loader v9.2 automatic (mega archive)
Loader shows OK status, test goes well, License REVOKED and nothing worksIMG_1897.jpg

I scan the cable with another software I find “Ctest”

What mean that loader v0.7 ?

With the cd cable must be 21.3, can I reflash with 19.6 with loader 9.2 ??? And will this reflashing fix Revokes license ?

Just use « VAGCOM_EEWriteLang.exe » program to flash the language corresponding to the VCDS software language you have installed...

TO DO THAT, THE CABLE MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE CAR WITH CAR CONTACT ON.

DON'T SWITCH OFF THE CONTACT DURING THE FLASHING PROCESS !!!

PROBLEM FIXED - First the Loader I got with the CD (v9.1) was crap…. I used the Loader from the archive.
Second reflash the cable with English as @Creteil and @jan4 explained me . And now 21.3 working well on x86 XP laptop.

I have the same issues. I have access to the archive now, but I have not yet found a manual on how to perform a reflash. Can you help me out too?

Edit: There is a readme in the loader. I was under the impression that it was just the .exe file, not a folder full of information.

I also have the same issue "Failed 2" . I'm gonna try with loader from archive.

@SupeR , @mitek96 if your cable is atmega162
First download and Install the desired version VCDS for me it was 21.3.0

Download Loader 9.2 from the archive (non-automatic) This contains folders with few programs, If you can use C-test and blablaHW test to see cable parameters (must be in the car with 12v ON)

Copy loader exe to your Vcds folder as explained everywhere.

On loading screen must be OK X86 instead of
Failed 2 X86 or 64

When you finish this steps and VCDS opened from loader exe always gives you OK, plug the cable on the usb and in the car.

Now do the test in options as explained.

After Save, go to ABOUT, there you see your license status. If revoked or something with red label, you must reflash the cable.

Open EEwrite.exe from the loader folder, set language, mostly English and click the button and wait. When finish play VCDS from loader, test again , save and check license status, must be GREEN.

Im using a Hex-V2 cable and vcds 20.4, it worked fine until today.
Im getting error "vcds requires licensed interface", tried to reinstall software and nothing, also there is no serial at all .

anyone know how to fix it ? never used my interface with internet on

Do you have real V2 or atmega? What is in shown in test - check.

If you use atmega (HEX-CAN-SUB) than just reflash device.
If real V2 just start with loader and it should resolve your issue.
