Did you have flyfvdi vcds hex-v2 ? if you do not have ,please take back your words.

if you do not trust flyfvdi vcds hex-v2,please buy ross-tech vcds hex-v2.

i suggest you compare their fucntions first.

Hello Fly, I've had many of your STM 405/429 cables. However, Security access does not work after software version 21.9.

This has been said many times over the past on this forum. And it seems like you've been ignoring the issue.

All the latest Viiplusloaders do nothing to fix the issue. All they do is allow the cable to be used on the latest software version. But does not help in rectifying the issue of security access.

So could you please comment on that particular issue of security access after 21.9?

Please let us know why security access does not work after 21.9 and believe me, people will stop asking you.

Is this files can fix my vcds real hex v2 from china chip 405 which is blocked and tried every thing to get it back no way it got blocked forever error message about illegal and blocked

Hi, I have just tested my 429 cable with 22.10 and latest VIIPlusLoader.
While security access does NOT work with the english VCDS (error 0x00, not accepted by controller), it was successful with the german PCI version (22.10 as well).
Could you do a test with the 22.10 german PCI? Would be interesting to see, if I am the only one where it works \o/

FlyFvdi should be banned from the forum for lying about hex v2 cables, it misleads members, its sole purpose is to deceive to sell their tools which is no better than an Atmega. Unfortunately Chinese sellers like to sell dreams.

Hi! Curently I have an ATMEGA 162 and I want to buy a V2 clone. I've read more than 50 pages of this forum and used Search, but I didn't manage to find out wich one to buy.

STM32F405 or 429? There is any differences? Is one better that the other? Wich one should I buy?

flyfvdi vcds hex-v2 with STM32F405VGT6/STM32F429VET6 has the same functions.

vcds hex-v1 with ATMEGA162-16AU, vcds hex-v2 with STM32F405VGT6. please see www.ross-tech.com. Ross-tech is the vcds hex-v1 and vcds he-v2 original factory.

Hi! I bought a clone of hex-v2 cable based on Atmega162. It works with vcds 22.10. I can read VW Golf 2014, but I can't read VW Passat B8 2021, VCDS shows message: "Unsupported vehicle".
From the seller I have all files to flash atmega and eeprom.
What should I do to make my cable support new cars?

Nothing, it is not possible. You have to buy a "real v2". See the discussion some lines above.
