Reading this topic for few days now.
I have 3 vag cars: seat arona 2019, vw tcross 2022 and vw passat b7. Old clone that i have working great on passat 2011, but dont work on arona and tcross. It is vcds version 17.
After reading this topic, i could not find any link to buy good vcds cable, working on newer cars.

Can somebody post link where you buy cables, and can confirm cavle is fully working?

This is the cheapiest and one of the shittiest china clones. It's not worth wasting any time on it, even taking photos.
Give it to neighbour's kid or just throw it away.

you need real hex-v2 STMF405 -
Atmel doesnt works in Tcross or any MQB-A0 plataform

Thanks. I was not familiar with this type of cable. Fortunately, there is another one, I just wanted to save this one as well. But I would be interested in the type of IC to see if it would be good for something else.
