today i try vcds new version 23.3.. do you know maybe why newer version doesnt work for me?
when i install and go to aplication it said that i need to plug in with usb, but i plug it.. it wont work..i try everything.. but when i test it,cant find interface and it said that i need to plug in or replug usb cable or interface... older version 21.9 work but newer 23.3 doesnt work. if you have any info i wanna hear it

I use 08.22.09.005 loader with 22.10 on the STM32F429. It works for me.

Every time i've tried jumping to 23+, i run into issues, Security access being one of them. And reading that peoples Hex-V2's have bricked lately with newer loaders, i'm sticking to what i've got.

Have you disconnected your PC from internet access or blocked VCDS in windows firewall ? That's necessary, isn't it ?

Try "SKLAD 66".
They offer a "real" "VCD$ HEX V2", which according to them does not require any "loader".
In my case, the cost including shipping is (+,-) 120 euros.
(I got Opcom from them)

The one for 120, is Hex-Can in a Hex-V2 shell. That will be ATMEGA and won't work on anything after 2017. 199 euro is Hex-V2, but it is also a clone, which is more expensive than Aliexpress.

If he's claiming it will work without loader, thats partially correct, until you need to do anything that requires Security Access.

Its not a real Hex-V2 then. Look at the pics of the devices, the label is not a ross-tech one, so it will be a clone.

I never said original was cheaper. I said the Sklad66 clone was more expensive than Aliexpress clones. Given that they say their V2 has support for vehicles after 2018, then it will most certainly be an STM32F429 device.

Even the clone STM32F429 can do VCDS without loader, but the moment security access is required, you need the loader. Why pay more than twice the price for the Sklad one when you can get the F429 from Ali?
