Pretty sure the Badrax Loader actually comes from Fly. It makes a POST Request to this address when opening the exe:
http://www.fly431.com/flyobd/webservice/WsForOEMVII

Seems like it wants to check whether you have a real Fly cable and should use the VIILoader or not

My post literally is against Fly and not Badrax. I said that the BadraxVII Loader is not from Badrax (as he already confirmed) and that it is most likely from Fly since it’s connecting to his domain.

I’ll upload a screenshot of the wireshark cap later.

Also i’m usually in another another forum and i thought i might as well post it here too

yes agree with @nitrox , i have stated the same few post back, kolimer/badrax loader is a chinese loader with false name to increase the sells due to notoriety names on this forum

My apologies then. A bit more context as to where the loader came from would have helped in the original post.

Guys, everyone just needs to calm down... it's not about the loaders - it's about the device versions themselves. On AliExpress there are upgradeable (expensive) and non-updateable (cheap PCB: B03-ST), despite the fact that the chip STM32F405 is soldered. users of cheap versions (like me), who tried to update, ended up with dead. I think this is largely our fault - the seller immediately warned: to use only and ONLY the version of the program and loader on the CD/DVD that came with the kit. yes, the trick worked for a while... but then the greedy bastard FLY changed something in his soft. in general, don't take risks with updated versions - it's not worth it. )))

I'm sticking to the version 22.10 with my 429, i've no need to update as it works well.

I've never understood why the need to update to the latest software version. Its mostly bug-fixes or new model additions (most of which are now limited in what coding can be done thanks to SFD).

Hello frends

I have a problem recently with my VCDS 189 HEX+CAN cable. For 2 years there were no problems since a few days ago it started. What I noticed is that my license has been revoked. With HW Type I see that Langruage is unknown. I flashed the Cable with EN language and tested the cable. It worked fine until the next release. He needed a flash again. Why does it lose the language after every coding or diagnosis? I am attaching pictures of the problem

Check the anti-virus program you have, including windows defender anti-virus and see which file it blocked that is related to VCDS. More than likely it blocked your vcds.hook.dll file for which you have to restore and then add it to the exceptions.

I buyed two vcds-hex-v2 from this seller

These is supposed to be "Free Update Online" but is not. Only the price is for this.
This guy have updatable and not updatable interface for sale. I payed for updatable.
Seller sended me download link with Badrax_VIILoader_V9.23.09.001_2303_R1 that work only with vcds 23.3.1.
If I try to make update to vcds 23.11.0, the loader stop working and message is
"Please install version BadraxVIILoader_Installer_V9.XX.XX.XXX_2303.exe".
Exist any solution to make it working or simply I am another sucker who payed to china man ?
