my cable corruptet bootloader, i use teensy 2.0 make isp avrdude. fuse read, check mcu signature invalid?
i try no success?have soluction?

Try a cheap USBASP AVR Programmer and avrdude as described in _README.pdf

Ok try whit arduino to avr isp and work, problem is my lock fuse(LB 0xC0)

I have gotten a used HEX V2 orig . it has 3 registered vins already , is it possible i can get this cable to work with a vii loader ?

If it is a legitimate Ross-Tech Hex V2, then no.

Vii loader only works with clone adapters.
You'll need to purchase additional VINs from RossTech if you want to use the legitimate device.

Hello community, I'm new to this so easy with the flames . I've got a Hex-V2 and belive it is blocked. I tried running it with VIIPlusLoader and got ""Illegal device. The device is locked"" . In more details of the Loader it says "Device read data failed". I've read some of the related post from experience members and gathered that the version or IC of my interface matters. So I've taken some initiative and got some photos of the front and back of my pcb. Really I'm insterested in learning about how to identify interface versions and which goes with what softwares (loaders, VCDS version, etc) and how to unlock it so I can use by device again . BTW, I using the loader provided by Sanshao: V23.11.0 VCDS V08.023.11 VIIPlusLoader Mega link

Could you share a picture of the PCB to verify that it is in fact a genuine cable?
You can contact Ross-Tech support and ask for an 10-VIN upgrade. If you are the owner then this should not cost to much but if you are not then you will have to pay for what they call "take ownership"
If for some reason this is masked as stolen then you wone be able to upgrade it.
But you can use it as is for reading out faults code and do logging. No need to VIN lock for such.

Connect cable to PC and start VCDS and go to Options->Test
You should see a CB version number there?
Does it say CB: 4508?
