VAG-COM/VCDS EVERYTHING

Hi all, am awaiting my delivery of my clone HEX-V2 with software however due to the delivery time I have purchased this as well to see if it did the same job. Can anyone tell me if this will work on a 2013 Audi A5 and if so what software etc do I need? Sorry bit of a newby to this so any information would be helpful.

Theres nothing there to say what type of adapter it is, so we have no idea

Oh okay sorry my bad, what information would you need? Would it be best to wait for delivery today and upload a picture of the adapter opened up?

Just received this adapter, can someone let me know which software etc that I need? Hoping it will work on my 2013 Audi A5

Thats an ATMEGA chipset, i believe Kolimer loader? Don't quote me on that though.

Did the adapter come with a software CD? That should have the loader on it. If not, contact the seller

Yes the adapter came with a disk, only issue I have is no disk tray

Wondering if I could download something instead or should I go get an external disc tray haha

You can download any version and use kolimer loader with it. Do not use the viiplus loader.
