You don't have a real original softwear you have a cracked chinese softwear and this is the problem. It cannot show everything.

Thanks, What do you guys use for hook-up wire from LPT cable to the PCB? Thinking a strand of copper might work ok, also have steel MIG wire, probably would not take solder well. Something better at Radio Shack I should get?

Follow the steps and your interface should work again.

is there a difference between FTDI 232 R und the RL Version? or its the same?

a friend of mine has a (i don't know the correct word in english EEPROM Programmer/Burner) who i can write the EEPROM on it, i hope you know what i mean...

is it easier to rewrite my cable with this? or should i do it with the tutorial i get from paro44?

    regards

Indeed it was a great job this finding

But i have a little problem, i can?t run the exe. the program has 2 exe, one of them is the one that the shortcut on desktop leads to, and when i click it (the shortcut or the exe itself), nothing happens!

I've tried on 2 different computers (Windows 7 32 and 64bit) and the result is the same.

    Can someone give a suggestion?

    Thanks in advance
