    Hello,
    thanks for your very good work here. I would like to try repair my old vcds 12.12 cable. I would like to use arduino and flashing czech VCDS -SVO. I have read this forum and I want to use this code
    avrdude -p m162 -c avrisp -P COM5 -b 19200 -e -U flash:w:Flash1.96_HW_0x46.bin:r -U eeprom:w:eepromavr_HW_0x46_SVO.bin:r -U lock:w:0x??:m -U efuse:w:0xf9:m -U hfuse:w:0xda:m -U lfuse:w:0xcd:m
    But I saw this post without answer:
    Hello ouldsmobile I would have a question because you have used " -U lock:w:0x3f:m " I saw that on the fantomel guide, by programming with USBASP, 0xCC is used.
    What I should use? -U lock:w:0x3f:m or -U lock:w:0xCC:m.
    My cable is HW Version : 0x46. I flashing FT 232RL with use MProg . Thank you.

    This isn't life changing thing. Stick to 3F as it's in the official documentation
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    Hello
    I have old VCDS 12.12 cable, that didn't work. I tried to repair this cable using a Kolimer loader. Now the cable is working, but not 100%. There are errors when working. I flash VCDS -SVO with using arduino. Can you see please, if this PCB is suitable for Kolimer loader, or it's a bad PCB ? MCP is 2515. The FT 232RL has pins 19 and 20 connected by solder, is that correct?
    Thank you for answer.

    Yet one more.. This is total crap, not even worth the effort. It's good only for spare parts. I've parteed out two such interfaces to resurrect others.

    Thank you very much for your answer. If this cable is unusable, I would like to buy another that will work. Flashing with arduino or usbasp is not a problem for me. I would like to use VCDS-SVO. Could you recommend me what to buy according to your experience? Is the better classic or VAG Hex V2? It must mainly contain the cable Classic DIY ATMEGA162 + FT232RL + L9637D + 16V8B cable with Bootloader or HEX-V2 DIY ATMEGA162 + FT232RQ + 9241 + 16V8B + ATA6561?
    Here in this topic, quite often the following appears: https://www.obd2cartool.com/vip-link...members-p-1209
    I would not like to buy the wrong cable again. Excuse me please, but I use Google tranlate and sometimes i don't understand or wrong. For the link to buy I will be happy.
    Thank you very much.

    20.4.1 released, doing some testing...
    The only change between 20.4.0 is vcds.exe itself.
