    ORIGINAL jed files are different
What you have for rewriting the RL cable is the same with the BM versions..

    Hi guys!!!

Regarding the lock fuses, of the ATMEGA162, if I set them to maximum security will I have trouble about ICSP programming?

Can I change them just to test something without blocking the ATMEGA?

From time to time, the VCDS detects that the ATMEGA is using a clone dump and it gets Unregistered/Shareware.

So, I wanna try to block bootloader and other securities to prevent this modification in ATMEGA

    Regards!

Did it help? Push Thanks below

Actually what you need is a dump which would be "read-only" , lock bits prevent atmega being read out by programmer etc.. but not to be rewritten by vcds soft (left for updates), so you need to write your own code for atmega to solve this issue.

Don't have these Lock Bits a Self Write Protection?

Unregistered/shareware is because of serial. Serial is in eeprom.. If is possible, try to protect eeprom..

Or.. try to set the lenght of bootloader to 0 (zero)...
LE: Is not possible to set the lenght to 0..sorry..

and in device manager appear VID0403 & PIDFA24. i dont know if it was broken or not. it`s not working with any car. the program recognise, but the car, not recognize.before try to reprogram de FDTI or ATMEGA, i must know if the clone VAG-COM 10.6 was "killed".
P.S. sorry for 2 posts. but I do not show edit.

if in device manager is seen correctly as ross-tech device, in this case your tool is death.

to revive your tool you will need to reprogram the uC (Atmega 162) with a good dump.

Someone is lying here!!!! The uC as really that marking?

The 78F0513 uC from NEC is a 64pin TQFP or 64pin FLGA

The image you posted shows a 44pin TQFP uC...

Something is wrong or someone is lying

I bet the chineses marked the ATMEGA162 with a different name just to confuse other hackers :P

    Regards!

    Ken

    ------

My mistake, I saw other version! It's 44 pin uC.

    Sorry!
