Hi, ca anyone help with some answers :
    1. Dump to reflash atmega for a cable with BL/BM is the same with dump used to reflah Atmega for a RL cable?
    2. Ept file,for FTDI-BM/BL, from vcds 11.11 can be used with 11.11.5 ?
    3. I post a printscreen, those security and configuration bits allows me to read dump from Atmega and to use that dump for reflash?
    Thanks.

    Mate
First of all the security bits are for writing the MCu not for reading
For reading you don;t need to set the seurity bits
    Just reading
The dump from VCDS 11.11.0 will not work with VCDS 11.11.5 just if you erase that serial from blacklist
    Good luck

Matty, edit your post: "dump from 11.11.ZERO will not WORK with 11.11.5"...
    You're inloved?

For reading just read, but only if security/lock bits at wrote permit that.

    Mister,
The fusebits and security bits are setting when someone WRITE in atmega.
If that person set like in your picture, cannot read content.
You'll read something but not real content.

I was not clear enough in previous post and I apologize for that.....
I know that the bits are set when you write in atmega... that s perfectly cear; all I want to know was if the dump secured with that bits(like in the picture), after reading can be used for another cable, now I know .... .

    Thank you !

Mate no need to apologieze for this
You asked but it was a littel bit confuse
My frined liviudiaconu figure it out better then me ( for instance ) what do you wanna mean.
What shall I wanna tell is that you'll haven't find any tool without security bts set like this
So you cannot find tool that you can read and extract dump like this
There's other solutions for this if you have in mind this
    Good luck

The " story" is this: I have a cable VCDS 11.11.0( BL), brought 8 mounts ago; now a fried got a cable 11.11.5 , after a few days , the cable was detected by laptop as a " malfunction device....." . Problem was solved by changing usb cable. After, I was curios if i can read dump .... and asked for your help.

I apreciate your answer, never doubt about it, but we must clarified this:
I never ask no one by phone about this, definetily is a confusion.
