Write in more detail that you do. From where you took a firmware? And other.
Your letter have double sense.

Show photos of both cables. Load the software which you are going to use.

I have a problem with 12.10.3 beta.

Only first value in measuring blocks is shown, others always show N/A. Where could be a problem?

In the softwear ofcourse
VCDS 12.10.3 it is a betta version and also moded by chinese

You need to use dump for the sw version you wanna use. And as i know your tool it is a FTDi RL one base then for the softwera you'll need a Loader too

Hi

My friend give me VCDS 11.11 with FT232BM.
After connecting to PC it is visable in Device Manager as correct cable. But after some time (sometimes few minutes, soetimes few second) its disappears.
When I reconecting cable its the same. I replaced the USB cable but no change.

What you think, it is damage FT chip or bad soldering on PCB?

Can be bad soldering but 99% it is a bad FTDi chip.
Change it and you'll have no problem
( I have this issues in many low quality cables but also in one or two HQ clone too )

P.S. - this issue come in 99.99% of cases because you use the tool plugged to the car and USB and then you plug the power cable to the laptop because you have a low battery. My advise is in this cases to unplug the tool first then plug the power cable and after few seconds you can plug the tool back. But the better it is not using the tool in this condition.

Hi all,
i discovered in my old stuff one piece of HEX-COM-CAN interface. When i tried it on, it was 1.36 firmware in it. I reprogrammed atmega with 11.11.0 dump and now it's not visible by any version starting from 704.1. Does anybody know what should be done to revive this interface because it has excellent hardware. (see pics) Thanks. I forgot to say that only version 409 could read firmware 1.84 but it's too old for any proper usage.

1) The firmware(eeprom atmega) for com-port version of the adapter is necessary to you. The firmware 11.11.0 (on this thread) is calculated on usb-adapter version with FT232B chip.
2) Or to delete MAX232 chip. To seal FT232B chip instead of it.
3) Or write loader....

Thanks man, i figured that problem is related to firmware version, maybe i made mistake by programming eeprom, i should have done only flash and see what would happen. If i don't find valid dump i will try to connect ftdi with this.

I have now 12.10 clone tool, I have read it with USBasp. Is it big difference in fuses when it's CD DA F9 FC, when everybody say that it should be CD DC F9 CC/FF?

That's right. Such fuses stand on new cables from Ross. These a cable have a bootloader with large volume.
Read datasheet on a chip atmega.

So in RL clones for 12.10.3 what fuses should I use? Now it's banned and serial is hexa193-00c66e-3ee7a9-...

Fuses should stay CD DA F9 FC and I can program it with 12.10.3 dump with serial hexc715-00a8f2-a9d716-... ?

You have no new flash and a bootloader. Therefore you will use the old. Therefore fuses it is necessary to use the old. It everything is written in datasheets.
