Would any keen member be happy to flash my cable for a fee?

I dont have a programmer and my soldering skills are not great, especially on thin lines like these but I would need FW 1.96 flashed into my cable...

Usually takes ~12 H for them to respond, but allways sent me a reply. About your problem, will be more faster for you to find kolimer zip (read 10-25 pages back)and try to reflash by yourself or wait for them to answer and probablly they will give you a download link.

Is there any hope to read UDS with this interfaces? Should I put it in the trash and buy OBDEleven or brand new VCDS?

First you post pics with your hw than you indicate conections Atmega to Usbasp prog. but you did not say if you have tried anything about reflashing your cable. Did you have/found kolimer.s zip? Did you tried to run "read" your Atmega by usb to see if your bootloader is on or of?

I reflashed my cable (0x44 newest flash - bootloader is enabled) but during scan got something like:
    U1401 00 [008]
informations regarding extended error codes (UDS protocol) is available only when you use newest interfaces. (I translated it into english by myslef).

I had no such problems with 18.9.0 . Until now i see that newer vers. brings more problems than benefits. Try with 18.9.0 and see if works different.
