Anyone know of any issues with the STM415 cables, cant access coding or anything software version 20.4.1. All greyed out.

Delete, reinstall software. Block vciconfig and vcds on Firewall inbound and outbound.

Then try again.

hi,

difficult to say because your pictures are in low resolution but if the chip on board is an atmega162 you can repair it and use it with last vcds version.

Must be this cable with sanded down marking of U7 chip. Probably some kind of ftdi knockoff.

I doubt this could be updated to current version. Although you could try, nothing bad could happen.

Hello I have 22.3 VCDS on Atmega162, and it is stopped working.
it is just blinking red.

I tried to reflash it using USBasp and it is started.
Can read and write flash. VCDS tests show K1 and K2 short to +12.
It looks like that I'm able to enter into dev mode on cable when connect USBasp.

Firmware looks ok, so what could be wrong with this cable?

EDITED: Looks like all AM1 transistors are dead: Q1A, Q2A, Q1B, Q2B.
Will replace them hope all will works

Still no joy mate, tried all that and still the same (09 Central Elec) just shows adaption and coding greyed out with 2 buttons available
