VAG-COM/VCDS EVERYTHING

I've got this VAG 17 relic I'd like to use but the HW doesn't match any of the ones in the PDF about reprogramming them. This one's got an ARM chip and I understood it's unique. What do I do about this to use it with vcdsloader. Tried installing vcds 17.8 but using vcdsloader doesn't recognize the interface. Standard license is wacky and won't show measured values.

Let go of this shit.
Use the real 9.2 loader that Kolimer made.
I used this shit as a test and had the same message.

Kolimer Loader V 9.2 Works with the latest ori V 23.11.0 (and 23.3.1AKP) but supports cars up to 2018.

I understand there's no happy ending untill now, with unblocking? STM32F405 with 23.3 EN software (VCDS) and VIILauncher

I recently bought one, but suprisingy the secruity access did not work when i tired to unblock developer mode for Radio, in my Seat,

on another forum i found an update for my VIILoader, (newer version - that said it supports security acess with VCDS 2.1.X )

As You can imagine.. since i'm writing here

I was not informed by the seller not to update.. and here i am :-) with cable that flashes blue for half a second when connected to USB, and then it's dead.

never thought it might be locked out by using the same software.
(Funnily enough, yes, I wanted to use newer launcher, to use older version of VCDS FML )

I appreciate any help

if the cable cannot be salvaged, I will also appreciate advice for the future which cable to choose.

I only started to search for information, after trying to update, and found this place...

I honestly never expected such outcome, it's the first time i used anything related to VCDS, as it's my first VAG car.

If You can reccomend a good seller with a updateable cable,

we can tell only about VIIPlusLoader! no one know how long will flyfvdi support this Loader and why he did this shit with updateble and not updateble.

I'm not the one who was interested in the F405 chipset. Contrary to many posts from a now banned member, I do not sell or manufacture any adapters, I am an end user of one of these products. Therefore, unable to give any advice about unblocking/unbricking any of these cables. I believe Badrax was for a short time (may still be) looking into how to un-brick the F405.

I have the F429, and happy leaving it on VCDS version 22.10. Reason being, at the time it was the highest version available that still did security access with the ViiPlus Loader even though version 23 was available.

Then, after seeing posts from others on here saying their cables were becoming bricked with newer ViiPlus loaders, i decided to just stick with the version i'm using.

This is what i have installed and works fine. I have no plans to update as it works with my 2017 Passat and have no plans to change to a newer car for a good few years yet.

i just saw Your few posts from November 2023, mentioning this issue, and i saw that You send a message to badrax directly, trying to solve this blockade, that's why i asked You.

Anyway

i guess it's time to order new cable, so i can pick it up next month when i'm again in Poland, and stick to version that it's installed.

I wish, i knew before i started to update, i would have atleast cleaned my throttle valve body, and done the adaptation, before i started to jump to unblocking the developer mode in radio.
(for that i needed security acess which did not work)

I'm seriously devastated by the "level" of sellers who block cables so you can't use, even older software, this is something out of the ordinary for me,

You have Fake Fly Interface.
Not sellers or manufactor Block you cable, you did it self! This Interface have moded Fly FW without Fly Security Chip request.
Cheap 405 Interface used With Viiplusloader and without sop8 Chip on PCB are Fakes!!!

Early 405 blocking of Fly-v2 is Flys bigest mistake and this have nothin to do With you Problem.
