Happy New Year everybody. Got this vagcom 704 and updated to 805 and then to 908 using arash dumps. They work ok with both upgraded versions but got problems when doing autoscan. All works ok but when trying to erase faults resulted after autoscan it gives message that all faults are erased but in reality it does not erase any faults... After autoscan I have to access each module that had errors and delete them one by one. Anybody has encountered this? Is there a solution? Thanks.

Thank you for all the info that I found on this forum.

Because somehow ponyprog doesn't work with my STk500 Atmel programmer, I just used PonyProg, to split "dump file" in two separate files (FLASH and EEPROM). Than I used CodevisionAVR to programm the Atmel.

Another thing that I haven't found on the forum is, that my type of clone has programming connections already routed to the side of the PCB, so I just had to solder some pins to the holes and did not have to perform any soldering at Atmel pins (shown on Images below).

    Hi!

    I have the same PCB.

Would you tell me please, which pins are 1,2,3,4 and 12V in your picture TOP.jpg( six pins).
    Would you mark it, please?

To erase faults click on Clear all DTCs button.

Hello aminebot. This is what I do but and I even get confirmation that all DTC are erased but in reality they are not erased... I have to log on again on all modules with DTC and erase them. Thanks for helping.

You can find it out with ommeter. On one corner of atmega you will find white dot on pcb - so then the first pins down(and on the left side of atmega) are 1,2,3,4-i think that it is invisible in the TOP picture becuase it is covered with stabilizer 7805. And on stabilizer - the right pin is +5V(output) and the right is +12 V-input (on the TOP picture)...So you can just check which pin is connected to which one(for flashing).

in #615 posts i was explained that thing by tr3ce13,
and in #510 pins 1,2,3,4 are marked next to white dot

    hi from ross-tech online manuals
    "[Clear All DTCs]
This function is only available when using a HEX Interface and is implemented in two ways. On pre-CAN vehicles, VCDS will access each control module and clear DTCs from each one individually. On vehicles using CAN for diagnostics, VCDS performs this function without accessing all the control modules individually if the Use CAN Command box is checked. If you are not using a HEX Interface then you'll need to go into each module that has faults to clear them individually. This function is also accessible from the Applications Screen"

I used the button with green arrow and looking at your picture I think I must have been pressing the wrong one all the time... Is that right?
