If you your VCDS and cable could perform normal connection and scanning/ reading, but encountered

while traing to code or adapt somthing, and got a failure feedback like

after clicking the OK button, please lift the hood of the car and then it will work.
This kept bothering me a couple of days until yesterday I tried the 19.6.2 which came with a new feature that a warning message will jump if the software suspects that there is a diagnostic firwall activated:

With the old 18.9 ZHS version there was no warning so I didn't know what happened when I could not access the coding and adapting. It was very strange that at the beginning (brand new audi A3) I could do without lifting the hood but since last weekend I could not until I found the way on yesterday evening.

Not sure what you meant but working or not working with certain platform is related to the cable and the VCD$ version. Nothing to do with the Loader.

I received my hex v2 from ali and its on fw: 0.256. obdcarsale I saw yours is fw: 0.251.

friend of mine left me a cable he said that his cable used to work but now the interface is not being found. the device driver gives code 10 and i cant find the device neither under MProg or VAGCOM_EEWriteLang, any advices what can i do to revive it? it is china replica with ftdi ft232rq and atmel mega 162

Double check usb cable+soldering pads on the pcb. But most of the cases FTDI is pobably deffective.
