Can anyone confirm that clone vcds cable 19.6 can read the Address 4B: Multifunc. Module

Nope, I can't access that module on my MY19 Octavia. Everything else works perfect.

Nope....not Atmega on your cable, in order to try an update you need a cable with Atmega. If your cable is stil "alive", used as it is, if not buy a new one and this time buy one with Atmega162 AU.

It looks like an ARM based cable. When I had one cable like that, I had tested it with original/not cracked vcds 19.6.1 and it "worked" (it was recognized as legit cable in about/settings section of vcds). I always run vcds with no internet connection on my computer, but I don't know if it makes any difference.

You can test it and see if it applies to your cable. You don't need to change something or install another software, just the vcds version you want to test.

hi again had my cable working great thganks to you guys on here and kolimer who done the crack for the software it has the progamable chip which i updated and as already stated worked great with most recent software.
however tonight went to use vcds and says my licence is revoked just below cable number.
anyone know anyway to fix this desperate as have my car in bits so now when I put it back together its going to be full of codes.
can the cable number be changed in anyway. thanks.

UPDATE have 9.6.2 working again, needed to re flash cable and its working again very happy guy.

cebbes30 you have a programable chip if I remember correctly ATmega162 you should not need to unsolder anything download vcds and copy and paste vcds loader.exe to ross t--ch folder then create a shortcut to it.
then use software as instructions to update firmware needs to be conected to 12volt supply or to the vehicle.

Needed a help, Does anyone know which Local Service is used by VCDS 19.6.2 (in PTT but I believe to be the same in other languages .. I think the service will be the same) in Windows?
You can access these services via:
Pressing the Windows-r keys after typing services.msc and enter on the keyboard.
I ask this because I can not open my VCDS in PTT ... it opens the first information saying Kolimer X86 V9.2 ... But then does not open ... and nothing else happens ... once I had a similar problem in other software and I had to go to the service and put in automatic with start delay ... so I am asking myself to check if it can be the same problem ...
I also noticed that the message Kolimer X86 is 32bits ... but my windows runs at 64bits ... But I do not know why it was installed to X86 I can not understand what happened here ...
I would appreciate some help ...

Have you downloaded 19.6.2 from ross tech then closed it copied vcdloader to vcds directory then double clicked it to open it will then change vcd.exe to vcd.exel then all you need to do is right click on vsdloader.exe to highlight it then in menu click on send to, to create short cut to desktop.

Already done that my friend... but i re-done like you say... Problem its same... Show Kolimer mensage in blue say OK... And dont open...

what do you mean wont open in ptt which OS you using have you gone into properties and tried operating in another OS system.

What I did
Reinstall VCDS
I changed loader 7.2 to 9.2
flash interface using VAGCOM EEWriteLang - successful
Nothing helped. What else can I do

What you can do?
You should post some pics with PCB and tell us on what car (model/year) did you tried to use your cable?

Uninstall the previous version and upload the new one.
