hi i had the same problem on my samsung ,i went to comet and spent 60 quid on a scart cable still had the same picture from a 2.99 cheapo scart so that soon went back,i have now got a starview 4 and the picture is better .
Ive recently had a 1080p Samsung series 5 tv.
However the picture from my starview super box seems to be grainy on my new tv.
Im using the Yellow, red, white out put on the box to my tv.
Would a gold plated scart make the picture better??
All advice would be appreciated, cheers.

Scart cable gives a better picture.( these gold cables are a bit of hype. Just a decent normal one will do) Put your scart cable into your RGB scart socket on the TV. The other end goes into the bottom scart socket on the box
Is this a samsung thing??
I bought a 42" Samsung plasma and my picture is very "liney".
Even with a high quality scart cable the picture is made up of thick "horizontal lines" so to speak.
I use the freeview picture as much as possible.
Not complaining though.
Does the starview 4 give out a better picture then as i may be tempted to buy the box ??
Also thanks guys for ur fast replys
i dont think it is a samsung thing mate ive got 2 samsung tvs and a box on each pictures perfect on all chanells
