    Hi Guys,

I've tried the Kolimer mod on my China 17.1.3 cable and it turned out to be pratically impossible with a normal soldering iron, since i had to connect the wires to the Atmega162 directly. If i understand correctly, i can just buy this cable: https://www.obd2cartool.com/atmega16...hipping-p-1555
and connect my USBasp to the pinheader, connect GND to pin 4 of the interface and reflash using HW-writeEEProm_lang which came with the Kolimer pack? Then start VCDS with VCDSloader and everything should work?

I may be asking some n00b questions, but I've tried to sift through all pages as wel as I can. Thanks a lot in advance. Hope you guys can help.

Remove jumpers on J1-5, and you can flash, there is a pinout in the manual.

Remove the j1-j5 as I said above, apply a 4.5 pin to GND, 16 pin +12 on the OBD and flash it

The car must be after 2005 and have a can.
Otherwise, it looks like the car does not have can.
