all over facebook, people are reporting that the latest update STOPS fiat from communicating with cars, so id advise against it
also id advise against giving serial no. of device out, who knows what sneaky update you would receive =/

i am trying to program a new key on a Fiat Ducato 2012+ which runs on CNG/petrol.
i have programmed numerous keys and remotes for this model Ducato on diesel with the Lonsdor key programmer, but this one seems to not even want to connect with OBD it just says cant connect and then session times out.
Is the BCM or ECU maybe different on this particular model with CNG fuel that the programmer cant talk with?
i havent pulled the BCM yet to take a closer look, but maybe some of you have had any experience with this kind of model before?
Next thing i am going to try first is if it even talks to a diagnostic obd tool like Delphi to see if the obd connection itself is comprimised.
haven't had much time to tinker on this project but, hopefully somebody knows anything about this rare gem i have in the shop.
i have programmed a Ducato just last week.
Do you think its because of the update that is doesn't work anymore?
i haven't tried it on a another Ducato yet, i've send one for cleaning but i'll try it on that 1 aswell and see if it also doesn't wants to speak through the OBD connection.

i agree, i think you have updated and now lost all comms with FIATS, i think if you pay 600USD you will receive the function back maybe

super jumbe (21st May, 2019)
No this is copy/paste post written on facebook group couple months ago.
I would say be happy if you programmed as you said 'numerous' keys for Fiat with Lonsdor because it's not 100% reliable so 1 fail is's very good result for this tool

Double post, sorry.
Look the Chinese tools you can not invest for long time because one they keep stopping updates on old tools and they bring new tools the next year, you are paying 600 yearly and you will have to continue paying every yearly imagine that tool will cost you a fortune, you need to buy tool which you are not forced to pay yearly you all need to think the next option, I went and bought truecode never to pay again for the same modules for life.
