Immo off in ECU need to be done in eeprom and flash
Hi i been trying to adapt second hand injection pump. I have ecu 5 digit code. Using vcds followed ross tech guide for immo 3. Logged in went to adaptions channel 50 stored value is 32000. It won’t let me use 5 digit code it says it needs 7 digit skc code plus importer and wsc codes. Anyone able to help.
I have also had immo part removed from engine ecu edc15 vm+ as i was told this will make pump plug n play but still wants coding.
Thanks in advance
I beleave that is what has been done thanks. If you look in measuring block 81 its all blank and the extra fields when you first connect to ecu the vin is blank and so is immo id. Thanks

Ok i’ll find try and find out. Will that then make pump plug n play thanks
Hi i spoke to the person who did immo delete. Its only been done in eeprom. He said never heard of having to turn off in flash for edc15. He doesn’t know how to do that if thats the case
you also need immo off in flash. this is edc15vm not edc15p or edc15v read the flash and believe here and I will do it after removing immo you can also put a pump that is not for the model but beware it can cause problems with the running of the engine so use the pump number as it was an old or adequate replacement number

Hi it is edc15vm+
what tool do i require to read flash
thanks jon
Hi. You can use whatever you have for reading. Kess, Mpps, Galleto. Ultimately you can programmer. You just need to desolder. But I did a few of these Audi. And it is enough to eeprom properly immo off and it burns without a problem. And pompe give with the same number
This car without immo off in flash will not start. If you have the original pump and the original ecu. And for example, you lose the key and turn off the immo in eeprom the car starts because the pump and ecu are also the same, which means that the flash with the pump are connected to the communication. Eeprom is associated with the instrument and the key and I do not know how otherwise easier to say so when you change the pump you have immo in flash or preferably eeprom and flash reading kess...

Hi. I did with 5 or 6 immo off. Only in the eeprom. And the pump was changed and the car start normally. I was doing one of the first 2.5 and the last of the models. Well, if you say so. I know if you would set up a different pump number, you had to make changes in flash.

I still do eeprom and flash 400 or 800 flash so it's 100 percent and you can transfer ecu to any other car and it starts. But I know that sometimes if you use the wrong pump with a different number, problems can occur with the engine running. Just that I don't remember any numbers was this problem. Only one byte changes in the flash.

Hi thanks for everyones input
The pumps have same number and from same emgine code ake. However modules have different letters at end. The second hand pump comes from a newer car 2005 where as the car is 2002. I don’t have original module as i sent it to be repaired never to be seen again. So i thought how hard can it be to fit a second hand pump to a car this old that doesn’t need security how wrong was i.
i hope this helps jon
Hi.
What letter was at the end of old pump number and what has new pump?
Not all letter pumps is interchangable.
