Prorgramming a used key fob for BMW X6M.

Any idea why the sound system and display stopped working and Emergency Call Malfunction comes on the dash?

Why would you touch a later bmw vehicle no knowledge of programming no tools to do job
Takes year of expierence working on these vehicles and about pounds 5000 pounds on key programming for these vehicle just the battery support unit cost 850 pounds next week I am going to fly a jumbo jet no expierence.

I managed to program one virgin FOB, the Emergency Call Malfunction might be due to a dead battery in the unit but the display, I don`t know.

I decided to remove the FEM again to add another key, installed it back in and to my suprise everything works now, all three FOBs, audio, display and no more SOS fault.

Maybe FEM wasnt connected well to the car after first adding (some pin in connector wasnt fit well). Well.. good to hear you solve that problem..

I was thinking the same thing, I also had a key lost at key position#1 so i deleted it, this time i assigned a virgin key to Key#1.

The tool you have used has way more explanation than others i came across and seems easier to use
