have we also lost access to private messages not only can I not get access to the garage forum to look for information but I have recieved a private message from a member requesting information about honda motorbike problem to which I have a solution but i cannot reply to him or post anything on forum to help others what can i do ????

Perhaps you could put that members user name on here and hope they see it and sent your their e-mail.

Perhaps you could send them a visitor message!

I am not aware of any restrictions that stop users from sending pm's, however it is most likely the user(s) have opted to select "do not accept private messages" via there user control panel....... try as Meat-Head suggested, send them a public message.
