I'm from Madagacar, I have 2 cars : a citroen saxo with a TU5JP4 swap for fun, and a golf MK4 with an PD100 AVB swap from a passat B55 as a daily. Since it's a nightmare (mostly for my wallet) to get performance mechanical parts here (due to high taxe, postage, etc..) I decided to begin modifying my cars on the software side (had a project to get a speeduino for my saxo, but nowadays it's more and more difficult and pricey to get one). So here I am, trying to learn stuff on different forums like this one, principally for my Golf, as it's more simple for beginner like me (it have a EDC15P so via OBD. My saxo is equipped with a Bosch MP5.1.1, so the EEPROM needs to be de-soldered : too scary for my...for now
