I have gained an interest in repairing cars after since I live in an area in Sweden where the local VAG workshops either damage my car (ripped the threads on my oilpan plug) or charged my insurance company 2000 $ for a new radar sensor that was dangling due to a 15$ plastic part that is available as a sparepart.
Since I now have the steeering columm lock issue I am now repairng the car myself and I can see this website is a valuable resource.
