Came here to figure out an immo issue with my 03 A6 2.7t 6mt. Guy before me did a hack and slash job of modifying it, and smahed out the pedal mounting points in an attempt to hide the whooped Cl Mast Cyl, but it had a FMIC, Upgraded Coil Packs, full decatted turboback, access port, BOV's, and supposedly has bigger turbos than OEM. So far I've found that he attempted to bypass immo by wire, wired the fan control to a 110v light switch, and a grounded toggle switch for starter that he never grounded. But at the end of the day it has a 6mt with the 2.7t, and I'd only ever seen 1 other 2.7t 6mt for sale in my area and I jumped on it. At some point in my journey I found Mario6's Link to Vag EEPROM and Commander. Unsuccessfully tried downloading multiple times, but just before I started throwing things I saw the link here. Honestly what can I say... Cars are Pain. Audi's make me feel more than usual, but also a giggly, child-like feeling of pure joy. So much joy that I invested between 5k and 7k modifying my first one, just to total it when someone pulled out and cut me off when I was doing between 80-100mph. But hey, some guy got a full borla exhaust and some tasty extras from a junkyard car and I can row gears (Someday maybe, 
) I've been wrenching on Audi's going on 4 years, and still refuse to spend $120USD on a repair manual for a 20+ y/o car. I'd probably make life much easier if I did, but I'm a principled man. I didn't mean to write a novel here, but I got carried away venting my frustration. Tracing the issue to the immo, and learning the only way to recover the pin# is by reading and dumping my ECU and Cluster now has my blood boiling. The most I've adjusted a cars programming was to remove the limiter. So essentially this is all uncharted territory for me, and so far DK has been instrumental in helping me to understand of my problem, and work on my gameplan to fix it. If anyone is reading this and has any experience in the area any input helps. If not, I've gotten this far more or less alone, I'm cool with struggling for the last few steps as well. I'll figure it out, I always do eventually. But thanks for having me guys, and for allowing me to speak my piece.
