I have a problem with the water pump on my 2019 Golf 7 TSI. The engine has been overheating, and after inspection, I suspect that the water pump might be faulty or failing. Could you confirm if this is a common issue with this model and what the recommended solution is?
After replacing the pump, how can I verify that the new one is an original part? What are the potential risks if a non-original or lower-quality aftermarket water pump is installed?
