Hi there!
Glad to have found the site. I have two donated Honda Odysseys, both over 11 years old. And both starting to require a lot of attention. Which is why I'm looking for answers to issues now cropping up. And so here we are!
My last Honda before this was Honda's first Accord fuel injection model which was a model Accord LXi. Mine was a 1989. But those years were Honda's last carbureted Accord model, (and I think everything after that from Honda was fuel injected) which means they were at the top of their carburation game with the last ones: the Accord Lx models in 1987, 88,89 years. Very snazzy with the headlights that would flip up and down. The body style had so much glass in the back window you could see very clearly all around you. Now... not so much. But cameras have come a long way, and even give a great wide rear angle. I was sorry to see that Accord LXi go, but like a lot of things, it finally was giving us more trouble, cost-wise to keep up, than it was worth. And, was pre-airbag, for my wife's and children's sake, so we sold it, cheap. Later, a salvage yard was called becuase the new owner dumped on the side of the road and never went back for it. And had never registered it. It came back to me to prove I'd sold it.
Great to be here!
