    Opel Tigra Twintop 1.3 CDTI

    Hello, everyone!
    I have a Tigra Twintop 1.3 CDTI.
I am repairing it and tuning it up a bit to improve its performance and appearance.
It is my first car, and I want to learn how to solve my problems with manuals, tips, and advice (from professionals and motor enthusiasts).

I wanted to know if anyone has had problems with (lack of) power, i.e. from 3,000 RPM onwards, especially in second gear but also in the others, finding it difficult to go over 120 km/h, accelerate, climb certain hills, etc.

I already changed the flow meter and bought an additive to clean the EGR valve, although the mechanic has not yet seen it to check that.

PS: I bought the car in 2007 with 52,000 km but with hardly any maintenance from the previous owner.
I already changed the timing belt because it was in terrible condition.

Regarding the ‘touch & connect’ device, I purchased one on eBay, but it is blocked.
Do you know if there is a way or a physical button to reset it?

Unfortunately, in Spain they don't allow you to change the 1.3cdti engine to the magnificent and regal 1.7cdti or change the current rear drum brakes to disc brakes without going through a bureaucratic nightmare, but I think that if I solve the aforementioned power problems, I'm going to put in a nice new turbo.

    Let's keep in touch!
