Hi to everyone,
Wanting to access the Continental Ecu on my 2013 Ducati Monster Evo Diesel 1100. I have all appropriate cables (Lonelec 3 pin and 4 pin connector bluetooth and OBDII connector and also other manufactured bluetooth and cable connectors) and programs (non OEM available online, M3C9, JPdiag, Tuneecu, Tunerpro, IAWDiag) but am unable to connect to just clear the service light ( I would be also happy to reflash it with the appropriate file if need be.
i have also disassembled the a Lonelec connector to inspect and try to mitigate connection issues.
My background for the last 30 years is with Earthmoving work for Caterpillar and Hitachi and have a sound understanding of electrical controller protocols and connecting to them to monitor reflash the ecu.
I have also connected and flashed my 2012 848 Evo Corse SE (different controller and pin in/out connection to the Monster) and it has been programmed with the appropriate file.
Any guidance as to whether the 3 pin Fiat/Lancia or 4 pin Ducati under the seat is to be used would greatly appreciated. Also any guidance as whether KKL VAG-COM 409.1 or Lonelec etc connectors are better would be appreciated.
Ben.
