I could put two S/N's in 2011.3, I think maximum of five. But in 2012.3 not accepted, the second S/N removes the existing one. Is this because of the patch?

I am using it with 4GB micro SDHC and the flight recorder works well for me. It is the new silver box with one PCB named as CDP Pro + :), with buzzer, 4 pcs od RGB LEDS and white LED flashlight inside the male connector.

Do not use any other Keigo sn and so on everything that my posts are equipped tested and works
As you can see pablo1971 was so pleasant and share sn changer bad now has the same problems

OK, now I got it running on in VirtualBox (XP). Before I installed the wrong Version (CDP+) and therefor the Hardware was not recognized. With CDP it works very well! So here we go: Thank you genius76! If I meet you in real life, I pay some beer and Vodka ;)

By the way, what is the difference between CDP and CDP+? I have the golden clone with bluetooth for $105!

Im in the process of installing 2012-3.
install is finish ok, then i copy and paste the .cer file and run the shortcut from desktop. it then start the activation and i enter 100251 and OPCSPRBDMRMQ which is ok, then since there is no internet connection i do it via usb stick but after a short while i get an error message "failed to prepare USB stick. you have to use manual mode or try again". but when i try manually, i can open the path to the usb stick but the "next" arrow is dark and i cant proceed - just go back or abort.

Please, what am i missing here ?

Anybody knows why I can't update the firm? It's detected like cdp+ serial 100251 and firm 12.2.0, says that I need firmware update, click on firmware update and leds go red and after a moment it says broken communication, and they still stay in red until I disconnect and plug again.

Tried to install the 2012.2 but no body wants to active me, I don't know what can do to check if it works or not to return it.

I am here to confirm that Mr.Genius's way is correct and works well for me on XP and WIN7 now.

In case, you guys have problems to create Fileactivation.xml, you have probably ran the sw without the patch - entire folder copy.! Then you have to uninstall the sw and delete any folder with name autocom*.* on your hdd, specially the hidden/system ones. Clean temporary files, check for autocom appearance in your registry and delete them. Restart and try sw installation again, this works. No fresh installation of the system necessary.

Also do not forget to turn off the internet access. The autocom sw attempts to update itself each time you start it!!! See the bottom right corner of the page...

To avoid this, modify your hosts file adding a line with this :
127.0.0.1 activation.autocom.se

Now my question: what else to modify in the hosts file, please?

If you are using the Right Patch File and your software has been Activated properly than you don't need to block the Host Site let it look for new updates as there is NO any harm in it.................

I have the silver one pcd CDP+ (sn 100251) working perfectly with 2012.3 last night i updated the software from autocom.se server... my CDP+ has firmware v106 and v1230, the software wants to update to v107 and v1231... without it refuses to work:( is it safe to update the firmware or will i brick the device?? or better revert to default 2012.3?? any experience anyone?? thanks for your help in advance:)

which autocom do you use?? i have the silver one pcb CDP+... the 2.12.3.2 sw requires fw 1231, the 2.12.3 sw requires fw 1230... if you copy the "firmware" folder from 2.12.3 to 2.12.3.2 then it works with older firmware:))

I have installed this on my xp laptop....cant exactly remember how i did it...but there goes...anyway im trying to install it again on my home pc.just to make sure i can do it....

Ive been watching the youtube link that genius posted..

genius you install the autocom.....you have the autocom cars in\con on the desktop...you then copy n paste the patch to autocom car folder.

then the desktop shows 4 extra icons after the patch has been applied...

no matter what i do i cannot get this to happen....after i apply the 31 files from patch folder to delphi/autocom i do not see these extra files on the desktop.

i think this is why im struggling to install it...

I bought a black (new VCI) clone and Installed "Cars CDP+" with serial "100251". After executing autocom I noticed that no activation was necessary but when I'm testing i get this message:

Before I had installed an golden (old VCI) and somehow the activation is memorized. I uninstalled the software, removed everything from "C:\ProgramData", bunt without success :(

Same problem here with Firmware update. And same shit on 3 CDP units. Its FW 1250 on them ? and the new is 1230 or 1231 ?
Just like downgrading is not possible.

Iam jumping from 2011_1, to 2012_3 dident work on 2011_1 either..

The installation with delphi 2012_3 worked perfect 1 time.

One of CDP is from total different seller and its working different also. I " hope " its longshoot that all 3 units have bad flash IC.

Right now i got 1 out of 3 to upgrade FW. :congrats:
From 1250 to 1230.

Did read that if its Good HW. then its no problem to upgrade and downgrade FW.
Bad soldering on crystal at this one.

Also it worked better with Autocom Toshiba with win7 .
And worse with Delphi Dell with Win Xp.

Do people reflow other IC then F800 ?

I have followed instruction,
first instal,then copy patch,keygen,activate,and after that cannot upgrade firmware,but test ok.

before i have used serial 30250 with 2011.3.5 software,now i have used the same serial 30250 and i have copied hw from keygen.When i try to upgrade i can hear only 1 time clik and thats it...now i have uninstaled autocom,everything all folders,removed form registry,isnstalled again version 2011.3.5,now i cannot upgrade even with this version,but when i try to connect to car it works ok,just cannot upgrade firmware,but when i try to connect to car with 2012.3 software it does not work...
