Eurovox 1000sl- firmware?!

Hi, Could somebody tell me if I will have to install the original eurovox 1000sl firmware before I can install the "Firmware Fix for Eurovox 1000SL DarX" file? Or Would installing the fix be ok. I have only fta software installed at the moment which came with the box. Sorry if im asking stupid questions..Im new to this game.

Hi Archie, Just download the latest fix then flash your box, you do not need to install anything first. Any problems mate come back in.

Is this latest firmware supposed to fix the auto-update of the codes ? As mine still has Please wait code being updated , after flashing the latest firware and scanning all the channels again.
