hi mate can you explain ...ie wots it saying on box wen trying to load firmware can you put wot your software on box is on here because if its coming up mismatch ...were in the same boat the chanels are on box but no names in favourites ertc

Basicially i bricked my box so had to flash it using rs232 lead. No matter which firmware i use i get a boot loop and the box wont load or come on thats why i need somebodys working firmware off thier box to try and fix it

hi there mate sorry jumpin on your thread ...just bin lookin at your firmware ...my box keeps coming we file mismatch wen i load files on box ie channel list there yet no named favourites ..also gtried copying the one i got on my box downstairs ,,,it wont copy the channels that i organized on that box any ideas to solve this thanks

this has the latest firmware and if you dump all your data on to your usb then re flash then put it all back on you should get the channel lists.

yes it is upgrade but we call it on here reflashing. try and put aj's channel list on and then do another reflash as it worked for me.

Hi,
its my understanding that a reflash is when you put on new firmware via rs232 cable,
i used the dogsbollox and that works great on my F3.
an upgrade is when you upgrade your tv lists etc via usb.
if im incorrect im sure someone will let us know

thanks for all the replys. ive decided to send the box back to the supplier and waiting on a replacement.
