dremabox500s issues :(

just got a dreambox500s and the green light is permanantly on

my supplier told me to reflash the box whihc i have never done

2 questions
i have read a few threds and lookin to use dreamup but which image is the best one to use to flash is it the gemini one ?

your help is much appreciated

i managed to flash my DM box with a Gemini_420_DM500.img
rebooted and the green light still stays on - I cant even get the box to go to standby mode.

when i press the standby button the green light stays on
is this box useless then ?

after you flashed dk image did you unplug the power and leave for 30 seconds and power up again

silly question but when you plug the power in is the green light meant to be on straight away ?

you can try with another power supply:
12Vcc at min 3 amp.

I already changed the power supply on two DM 500s, this original power supply are know for low quality.

ok mate start again unplug box
start dream up with null modem cable pluged in press connect then switch box on and make sure it sais succesfully updated try that mate and let us know hope this helps what image have you tried i find pli images for 500 or dk images best
