Is there an official instruction guide to updating the channel lists? I use a F5S box and I can see both sides of the issue. What I have noticed is that if I delete the existing channel list first then upgrade to a new one then I have to reboot the box manually as the box displays no channels on the front display and on the on screen menu display but if I just upgrade the box with a new list without deleting the old one then my box reboots automatically which would seem to indicate to me that it is the logical and correct method because it does it automatically. I haven't bricked my box yet and saying that I don't want to either but I would prefer to know which is the correct official method.

Hi
Where do i find the file on the page to download the channel listing?
Im after the 15/10/13 update.
Thanks Guys
On the first page of Sattv5's thread in the sticky's at the top of this page. Latest is 13/10/13
I did exactly as your instructions said and now my skybox f 5 just says 'Load' and does not do anything?
So after following the instructions my box now says 'Load' no time when in standby and does not respond with the remote, have I now bricked the box???????
Yes mate ...now you need this thread....Recover Dead Skybox/Openbox Flash Using Serial RS232 Null modem Cable
(Thanks to Sattv5 for his lists). I note his comment about deleting existing list before installing new list. Can someone remind me how to 'delete' please? (F5 and F5S).
