    Retook the picture.
Noticed mine is made by Visteon instead of Naldec, and is 2 button with a space for a 3rd button
    Maybe the 3 button includes a panic.Visteon 41835-1.jpg

This is just what I had planned to make a question about.

I struggled to find someone who sold original keys of this one.

A question for you guys that are using this tool regularly:

When you get a call for a job and you know you'll be using a kd900 remote instead of an original do you tell the customer first? Or do you just do the job and hand the customer the key when you're done?

I'm just thinking if i started telling the customer i would be using a non standard key i can imagine most customers being scared off.

Yes, I always show the client what I have as options. You are right that someone(very rare) can turn and walk away if you don't have what he has expected, but better this way instead of having troubles in the end and your ears to hear something like: "Why you did not tell me that...........".No, thanks. Prefer to be honest in the beginning.

Depends what the original remote is.
Mazda flip remotes are very expensive, used ones may pack at any time, so these are a no brainer alternative.
If you offer a shiny Bentley style against an original VAG 3 button style, most people are like magpies, especially the ladies.
I've had a Bentley style since they came out for my own van.
It gets a lot of use and is looking a bit dull now, but when I show customers how well it has worn, it usually decides it.
