also, if you can read by other programmer, VVDI2 bdm adapter should support too.in VVDI2 read this MCU the principle is same as programmer.
even you read by other programmer, there is one option in VVDI2 you can convert the data from different device

    Hi there

Is there a missing diagram on the VVDI prog?
I have done many W209 / W203 ignition which have mark on PCB ( 209 ZGW ). I find 2 types of diagram on VVDI prog. However the chip selection is wrong. 90% of those that I have done had 3L40k / 4L40K / 5L40k. The pin connections are the same but chip ID differs. Currently only show 1L59W and some other one. If you select those that are in Menu under IMMO -> BENZ then it doesn't read or reads corrupt.
GO to MCU and select the matching Mask for 4L40K and it will read using the same diagram of W209 9S12 ST12.

So please add this mask in the option when select that Immo.

    Thanks alot

It is normal to get error on detect id on cas4 5m48h or 1n35h. Just click yes and you should be fine if you respect the diagrams. Remember, first do backup then atempt unlock
    +thanks if I helped you!

    Hello Mexjack,

Did you remove components, like displayed in the cas4 V3 diagram.
Or did you cut pcb lines, like in the V4 diagram.

    Thanks in advance
friend, in next new version will update 35160WT & 35128WT read/erase/write + read ID, but this one only support by new adapter, still testing.

lately all vvdi tool has many bugs.please pay atention and fix.because this cost very much time nerves and money from master pockets to recover cars when bricked
mate, it's difficult to check the caused reason from the pictures, please confirm whether your device can read other encrypted 9S12 chips without problem.

For BMW CAS4 or Porsche BCM 1N35H/5M48H, not support to read ID,it's normal. if your soldering connection ok just ingore the ID and directly do next operations.
