    Hi , i play with the solution from kolimer .
    I have a old cable 11.11 with HW 0x44 updated.

    Now i have a error

    I have update my atmega in cable hw 0x44, but when i try to scan in VCDS craced, with external 12v i see " interface not found", but when i off external 12v and then try to scan i see " inferface found but not pluged to car".
    What i need to do after update atmega (flash and eeprom) ??
    Need also to ftdi ?? (i try to change ftdi with mprog but when i try to prog i see "no interface found".

    deluss install the driver for USB Interface and then try to locate it with mprog

    it's not problem with ftdi, reflash atmega again and check fuses

    edit// ok, you have erased ftdi flash again

    I try do the same like you on film but i have error. I think i have wrong file or my cable need one more time to change atmega.

    //edit I repair this problem. I change in my .xml chip numer from FT232R to FT232/245BM
    When i test cabel in vcds, i have on every click different message.

    @Dellus: You have FT232BM/BL or FT232R?

    Because in your images i see FT232B with FA24... not so good.
    I suppose you not use correct file.

    I open my cabel and inside is FT232B.

    So what i need to repair my vcds? with file is good ? I need reprog atmega one more time ?

    ok downloaded 17.1.3v2 and have hooked up my 0x46 via the pin header to usbasp, and extreme burner sees the chip. how do I go about flashing it? sorry need a step by step.
