when i have done a factory reset choose english as my language then scanned for channels this reaches 100% then it goes to manual scan if i exit everything after it has finished it takes me back to the choose my language screen which i cant get out of seems to be a continous loop with me not being able to exit

Power the box down from the main switch on the back for a minute and then power back up again.

In the CAS menu, where you see keycode, press default key and try it again. If that fails try a factory reset, rescan and turn keycode back on.

A reflash with V2.03 Digital Kaos - Downloads - TheboxSuperUSB2_v2.03.20090923.BIN (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/starview/23/theboxsuperusb2_v2-03-20090923-bin-902/) should solve the problem but I have seen it sorted before by leaving the box off for a while.

no joy with reinstalling firmware ( i tried on a different star view 4 as well )
what can virgin have done ?

i rescanned using the chorus settling instead of ntl and all back working :-)

me and my brother both have sv3, we both lost some channels and did a factory reset turned on emu, then automatic scan, mine is working as usaul but his wont pick up any channels when scanning and is stuck in menu

try scanning chorus instead of ntl that worked for me

Strange indeed as they use 6875 as an SR as opposed to 6887 for N.I.
I know that cards are at the moment been issued in your area and that VM are aligning networks but glad it has worked out for you. Hopefully you will get a while longer.
