You need parallel port, USB is only used for 5V supply. It's not USB programmer. You need new programmer, or old laptop :)

i have same unit, but the software that was 'included' said click this link, goes to all chinese website!

you could TRY a usb to serial adaptor then a 25 pn to 9 pin adaptor, might not work

Sivava has 0.98d5: (SIVAVA - Download Software Versions 0.98D5 (http://www.sivava.com/download.html)), pcb4.5c

@d.zio: there are usb2parallel cables, but i think they only work with printers, since they have centronics connector (not db25).
Maybe a pcmcia card with parallel port can help you.

USB2parallel doesn't work, I tried. PCMCIA might work, but I newer tried. My programmer is from sivava.com, I'm using old laptop with rs232 and parallel for all programmers. USB2rs232 and converter to db25 cannot be used with willem, it need real parallel port... There's another cheap solution for universal (real) USB programmer. MCUmall Electronics Inc. A low cost EPROM EEPROM Atmel PIC I2C SPI programmer online store (http://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4312)
