Hi I was wondering if anyone can help? I've gone through the procedure to add the code on a Delco CDR500 (E) and after I hear the beep I release the buttons and all that comes up is (5 safe) nothing else . Does anyone know what this means?? cheers

Press and still pressed AS
Turn ON unit (with AS pressed)
Only remove finger from AS when appear "10 ----"
Input code with 1,2,3,4
Confirm with AS (3/4 sec)

Hi I waited 40 mins it then came up with 5 ---- so I entered the code with the code you gave me and when I pressed to confirm with the AS button it went straight to 4 safe cheers darren

double check serial number is correct, if it is then radio has probably been recoded and you will have to post dump to get code

if you have to ask it probably suggests you won't be able to do it
you have to read a chip but it requires specialist equipment and knowledge
