hello to all mates......i have a doblo in my workshop with these fault codes........p1603 and p0254.....theb car start ok but dont accelarate.......i tried new battery for the first dtc but nothin...i mesaure the alternator and is ok....what can i check please???

Is this a Lucas system?
Then P1603 is a problem with 5V power supply for sensors.
That could be a sensor drawing to much 5V or a wiring problem (short circuit) or the ecu is defective.
P0254 is a problem with the rotor position of the pump - maximum flow.

he wrote its JTD, that's bosch edc15, but it might be mistake.
d.zio is it 223A6.000 or 182B9.000 engine code?
Those errors are more common to Epic as oldford wrote, it's 1.9D.

well this is how you go, because it's rotor position sensor, you have to change that sensor, or fix it, if you are ok with eeprom programming you have here software for fixing that problem and there's description in this thread too:

btw you don't have to remove injection pump.
After doing that, car will most probably work, as for this other error, it could be anything, from wires to ECU.
and yes P1603 might just disappear as you fix rotor position sensor.

the car with this file dont start......i put again back the original and start but not accelarate....i went the car to someone who repair pumps,he looked it and told that the rotor sensor is defective......


anyway thanks to all for your opinions and your help.....
