can anyone here help me by providing the wiring pinouts for a tachopro 2008 9pin serial port, as all the clones dont have this wired up and i would like to wire mine up so i can save dumps onto my pc.

could you post a picture of the wiring for the serial port so i can wire mine up please if its not too much trouble

Hello,

if i remember correctly, you can use any null-modem cable.

null-modem cable (pinout: DB9 5-5 2-3 3-2)

cheers alex but i have the null-modem cable but the connector is not wired to the board inside the unit, this is what i need the details of

so you actualy need connection inside Tacho Universal unit?
From connector to TU PCB ?

So looking at the board holes
bottom right is a square
so from square going up
square pin 1 of db9
going up to 2-3-4-5
opposite square going up is
6-7-8-9 top being empty

hope you can follow this
old news but just needed it myself for an old KA dash
