I dont know anything about if it works on the diablo or not, but i do know it works in technomate 6900 super combo, and other technomate series.

Hi guys, good evening, these two sets you just posted do not seem to work. I don't know what happens, everybody can update them and tv works straight away, mine not!
The system updates the usb file successfully, but channels still show scrambled. I knwo when teh keys are right, the channel pictures shows straight away. :-(

Hi Kundera75 the other day when I had problems I tried drag and drop for the first time. All other time I had used right mouse click then send to with out any problems. Which way do you send the unzipped softcam to your usb stick?

Hi Hopo, i don't think the problem is how I unzip or save it... The problem is that the codes are not right for my technomate... LAst time some codes were posted here, everybody used them successfully, but I had to wait for somebody else to do something else with the keys so they work on my machine!
Technically speaking, I know how to import them from here to the receiver!

Sirius seems to be down, haven't viewed since day before yesterday so don't know when it went down. :hmmmm2:
Was Sirius on FTA for a few days or were there keys available? Would be grateful if anyone has up to date keys for Sirius.

I have uploaded latest keys for Thor so taht is working again but unfortunately those keys have no effect on Sirius.

Anyone else getting issues with Thor reception this evening?

Just loaded the most recent softcams and the picture is breaking up quite a bit on various channels

Astra at 19 east ok, as is Atllantic Bird, Hotbird etc

Seem to have lost 1st Baltic Music Channel with the latest Sirius softcam - will try the previous one to see if I get it back.

Hi, this morning some channels - ones you don't need codes for, seem to be much better reception wise, but the Discovery channels ones just blink on for a moment and then it goes to No or bad signal.

You need to do a full re-scan,

Well 1st Baltic Music channel's back - didn't do anything apart from leave the box on all day - I presume it did some kind of auto-update?

Another music channel called ENTER is also open, mostly Russian but some general english pop/rock as well.

To open Conax you will need an official card, ie Digitalb sub card.

Does not open on Cas3 anymore since upgrade in encryption.

first what size dish are you useing and is it fixed or motorised?
next have you checked for a signal on the free to air channels?
like [bbc world news] and if that has no signal are your lnb settings correct in the receiver menu? also you might need to check the dish if it's fixed to be sure if it's a motorised system try moving the dish a little east or west to see if you get a strong signal.

if your getting the free to air channels with a good
strong signal and no signal on the scrambled channels
then you have a frequency problem, and a re-scan of the
satellite will sort the problem, if you have a signal from the digi-tv channels
and they just dont open load this softcam

I"ve got the same box and it runs ok with no probs.
have you put the latest patch in "674" I will look up where it is in the threads and edit when I find it. you will not be able to load the softcam into the official software.
The card slot is for subsciption cards,But it may be able to take a sly one with the right patch.
the other 2 slots are for CAMS either official eg;conax. irdeto.viaccess,etc.or the many unofficial ones about but I dont think they open any more than the softcams

the latest patch 674 is in the stickies "TM 6000 series patch" make sure you unzip both the patch & the softcam before loading into the usb stick.load the patch 1st then the softcam.DO NOT use the super patch.

The Tm5400 wont open up much right now. You can still get some stuff on Thor 1w with the latest patch, but for how long i don't know. Look a few posts up from yours. post

If i am reading this right... you have a tm-5400 conected to your s*y dish, I'm sorry to say if this is the case you will only get fta channels as s*y is secure and not hacked.

As for the diablo cam... that does not open much at the moment... and i would not advice you to buy one at the present time.

What has the weather been like? Bad weather will cause bad reception or it could be you have a signal strength problem from wrong alignment. Maybe the dish needs a fine tweek. What is your signal strength for Thor? It needs to be 50%+ should be getting around the 80% region. Try moving your dish slightly.

both are on the forum, if your technomate has a usb port then
the easiest way is to load the softcam with a memory stick

I think the keys have just changed since I put the last ones in a short while ago (it was working then)

Transfer is by rs232 cable or usb if you have a usb version Technomate. Softcam opens mainly digi tv package on 1 west. Latest patch will need loading prior to loading softcam if there is not already a patch on your receiver. There are stickies at top of Technomate section explaining the procedures.

So suggest you try the key I had and leave it 20 seconds or so to clear

I have just re-writen the key file for 1w and its cleared:celticscarf:, not sure it was me or AU has come on again especially when you say Benny/9's files cleared :hmmmm2:
It's all new to me
EPG is a bit sparce for me as well

I read EPG has something to do with clock settings..have tried setting to CET, GMT but can't make sense of it..and don't get why it works on some and not others - maybe they simply don't broadcast info.

you need to press MUTE and EXIT butons and then input keys in proper cas

Ahh ok.

So I can get into the CAS menu I see slots from 1 to 200 with different encyption systems in them. 1 to 72 are full at present.

Do I just choose the next 'free slot' and choose the relevant encryption system e.g. nagra (Ident is popultaed with Dish Network (0000) and enter the code against 00 ?

Or am I missing something? TIA for the help...

I Think so, the softcam that was uploaded didnt include it? Not sure though..

An Auto Update (AU) is provided via a software patch, the softcams only provide keys and are used when the Auto Update no longer works or when other keys were not auto up-datable in the first place.

The above is a simplification of the reason softcams are used but it should give anyone an idea what different files are used for.

Any Idea when there'll be another software update for the TM 5000 Super series? I got sick of loading new softcams in, sometimes at least twice a day until I loaded a new stb file on back in July. So it looks like the AU is out of action again? Would it be best to leave AU turned off?

Might be helpful to state exactly what you have done so far.

Not that i can help but i am sure many of those here can help if they know what you are doing wrong.

If you ahve tm with auto update patch, go to menu-options-digi tv-set to OFF-exit and save. Relaod softcam if needed.

I can't say for definite but it sure feels like it.
