Hello!

Does someone know on which controllers SWCAN (Single Wire CAN) is used? I diagnosed lots of these cars with OPCOM, but I've never seen it would switch to SWCAN, only high and medium speed CAN.

Thanks for answers!

example vectra c

pin 1 diagnostic plug green wire
to CIM X29/19
X29/4 green wire to Airbag and selector lever module (auto only)
XC29/20 green wire to IPC 5
IPC 6 green wire to BCM XC31/41
BCM XC31/40 green wire to INFO X19/28
INFO X19/25 green wire to aircon and addon heater

inter module connection bus

tpms, uec.rec, ddm, pdm, srm, etc will also be on it...... anything NOT time critical

I may be wrong but I think the immo data may be on this line ...uec rec ddm pdm ipc dis cim like a "w" line on a vw

If you think about it how does a CAN based opel ecu report current CAN faults to your tool?

Hmm ... I diagnosed TPMS a few times on Vectra C ... but it was always on medium speed CAN (MS-CAN).

you probably don't use it when there is a functioning CAN system.

inter module connection bus...... not diagnostic bus

maybe its like a w line on a vw? will work as a k line at a push if everything else is down.
